On December 7 Clinton City Council voted to allocate $70,000 to develop the Sterilite Nature Area which will include a fishing pond and walking trail and possibly other facilities. This is a major step toward a first segment of the GHS Swamp Rabbit trail in Laurens County! The location is 50+ acres of city-owned land behind the Sterilite facility (see attached map). Attached are photos of LCTA Board members and Clinton DPW staff exploring the current (undeveloped) location for the trail.
