Our Mission

Our purpose is to provide leadership, organization, and collaboration to plan and implement trails that:

• Promote healthy lifestyles

• Promote land and nature conservation

• Stimulate economic development.

Our scope includes all types of non-motorized trails for walking, hiking, jogging, bicycling, canoeing, kayaking, and horseback riding.

A key goal is to extend the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail through Laurens County which, in conjunction with the Palmetto Trail, forms an Upstate Loop through the Piedmont region of South Carolina.
